IMPORTANT
Granite Markers: Allow 6 -12 weeks delivery for all
granite markers
Urns with engraving: Allow 5 - 10 business days for all
orders that require engraving
Wood Caskets: Allow 5 - 10 business days for all wood
caskets
Once an order is
processed, the product(s) will be shipped via ground service, unless
an express service is specifically indicated. When a more expensive
method of transportation than normally used by PALS is requested by
the purchasing party on prepaid shipments (such as next-day air),
the difference in cost will be added to your invoice.
PALS shall use
commercially reasonable efforts to fill orders, but shall not be
liable for non-performance or delays by shortage of supply or of raw
materials, manufacturing problems, delivery or labor problems,
intervention of any governmental authority or acts of regulatory
agencies, fires, earthquakes, acts of God or causes beyond its
control. Customer agrees that in such events PALS, without liability
to customer, may allocate products among all of its customers.
Damage or shortage
in shipment:
We exercise
extreme care in packing our shipments. To minimize the possibility
of errors, all orders should be inspected prior to your acceptance
of delivery from the carrier. ANY DAMAGE, SHORTAGE OR OVERAGE SHOULD
BE NOTED ON YOUR COPY OF THE CARRIER'S FREIGHT BILL AND THE DRIVER
SHOULD COUNTERSIGN THIS DOCUMENT. If the damage is excessive, do not
accept the shipment. Mark on the carrier's freight bill, "Shipment
refused, damaged. Return to shipper." In this circumstance or if you
didn’t receive the shipment directly from the carrier, our customer
service department 1-888-OUR-PALS should be notified immediately.
Your cooperation in providing this information will enable us to
expedite the necessary adjustments.
RETURNS
Although PALS
makes every effort to prepare and ship your order correctly and in a
timely manner, we realize that mistakes do happen. We have designed
this policy so that when we have made an error, in either product
quality or service, we pay the costs of return. However, when the
error is on your part, we ask that you bear the cost of the return.
Product quality
issues should be reported immediately to the customer service
department, 1-888-OUR-PALS.
To
ensure proper credit, please call us for an RMA (Returned
Merchandise Authorization) prior to returning any products. It would
be helpful and will speed up the process if you have a copy of the
shipping documents or invoice when you call.
PR ODUCT RETURN CREDIT POLICY
PALS Error:
Credit will
be issued at 100% of the original price if goods are returned within
21 days of original shipment date in like-new condition.
Customer Error:
Return is subject to 20% restocking charge. Credit will be issued at
80% of the original price if goods are returned within 15 days of
original shipment date, shipping charges excluded.
Products cannot receive credit under
the following conditions:
More than
15 business days have elapsed since the original shipment date.
Product
has been used or partially used.
Discontinued products.
P AYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment Terms:
Payment in full
must accompany all orders when placed.
Taxes:
Purchaser shall be
responsible for payment of all applicable state/local sales, use,
and/or gross receipts tax resulting from transactions with PALS,
regardless of placement of liability for the tax by law.
Disputes:
Should you dispute
an invoice, contact PALS immediately and an Customer Service
Representative will work with you to resolve the discrepancy.
Proof Of Delivery:
We will provide
proof of delivery for express service only, if request is received
within 21 days of date of shipment.
W ARRANTY
Products
distributed by PALS are warranted by their manufacturer. More
specific warranties, including the length of the warranty period,
may accompany individual products.
There are no other
expressed or implied warranties, including any warranty of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. PALS's sales
obligation and purchaser's exclusive remedy for breach of any
warranty shall be, at PALS's option, to repair or replace the
product. PALS shall not be liable for proximate, incidental or
consequential damages.
Modifications,
alterations, recalibrations, or abuse, and service by other than an
authorized representative may void any warranty.
