AFTER HOURS TIPS FOR YOUR PET:
Should your pet pass during the night (or while we are closed) and you do not wish to proceed with after-hours services and fees, the following suggestions will help you in caring for your pet until the next day. Please keep in mind to always do what you are comfortable with.
Keeping Your Pet Cool:
Ideally pets should be kept refrigerated or frozen until further arrangements can be made. If not possible:
Keep your pet in a cool part of your home, preferably on a tile or cement floor.
Ice packs or bags of ice may also be used.
If your pet is small, and a cooler is available, you may place your pet in this with ice or ice packs.
