Artistic Carvings, Drawings and Sculptures:  All items on this page are special order.  These  orders usually take between 4 to 8 weeks.  For any items ordered on this page, a photograph of the individual's pet is required before any work can begin.  All photographs given to PALS  will be returned to owner when their item is finished.  

Judith Nelson, an internationally known artist, discovered her innate gift of drawing and seeing "in three dimensions" very early in her life.  She has always been able to capture the spirit of an animal in any medium.  Judith began reproducing images of animals, especially pets, after losing one of her beloved canine companions a number of years ago.  She works with pencil, pen and ink as well as beautiful works in scrimshaw and sculpture.  She offers portrait carving on urns along with carvings on the natural miracle of Emu and Ostrich egg shells.

Caskets: are constructed of strong, high-impact styrene.  The design and special sealant restrict seepage of water and the intrusion of air.  These caskets are capable of serving as a casket / vault combination.

Regular Casket:  is made of double walled rich almond-colored styrene plastic, is hinged, contains adhesive, has an interior lining and crepe covered pad and pillow are trimmed generously with lace.

Deluxe Casket:  is made of double walled rich almond-colored styrene plastic, is hinged, contains adhesive, has an interior lining and an interior cape.  It is richly fitted throughout with soft padding covered with crepe, skirted and trimmed amply with lace.

The Final Farewell combines the expertise of a bereavement counselor with that of an expert in after-death pet care. It includes information about euthanasia and the grieving process, and explains in detail all the options available to people when their pets die. Unlike other books on pet loss, it is meant to be read in advance of a pet's death, when the reader is in a better position to make those kinds of decisions.
